I am seriously forgotten apa nama kuih ni. First time i saw this kuih, terus rasa nak cuba. Nampak kat blog sape tahh..betul2 tak ingat nih! Nama dia macam pelik..so bila nak search balik..dah tak jumpa. My chinese fren out there, any idea apa nama kuih ni?? if i'm not mistaken it's a chinese makanan.
Since search blog tu tak jumpa, resepi nye pun saya main bantai jerr. Ingat2 lupa..pastry sama macam buat karipap, cuma yam paste je yang lain. So i made the paste as follows:-
- Yam - i cleaned, boiled to tender & mashed.
- Heat some oil, then masukkan mashed yam tadi..then kacau sampai sebati semuanyerr. rasanyer, the purpose letak minyak ni, ialah untuk bagi paste tu kilat.
- Masukka gula - ikut manis.
- Masak sampai likat & kilat.
- I did some modification by adding yam essence as well as the purple color :)
Lepas tu buat la macam karipap biasa, letak filling kat tengah2 & kemas kan tepinyer. Goreng.
