Rendang Daging

  • Beef (sliced or cubed) - get it ready in a pan
  • Onion, garlic, ginger, galangal, lemongass, tumeric- pound & throw-in together with the beef. Add-in chili powder and curry powder. Heat stove and simmer to tender, pour water in the middle if needed.
  • Pour coconut cream, later on add kerisik. Keep simmering. Let it thoroughly cook and dry.
  • Ooopppss..i forgot to mention about my tumeric leave. Finely slice and throw into the rendang in the middle of cooking. The smell and taste will be lovely!
